Web Design Process? (from start to finish)

Hello, everyone! For those doing web design, what is your usual way of organizing or the process when doing a web design project?

I'm still a newbie and just had a few web design projects but I would say that my process needs a little bit of help when it comes to a better flow and organization.

Like, what's your typical flow from?...

Client questionnaire - Discovery call - Initial proposal - 1st 50% downpayment - Onboarding - Start of designing - 2nd 50% downpayment - Handover

Something like that. Or does it have some missing steps or is there a better process than that?

Also, for every page or part of your design, do you still have the client check on them or like schedule a call to present? Or do you just have it presented when everything is done at the very end?

Sorry, if these are a lot of questions. And I hope I got to write them down clearly.
