Romans 5:8, which states: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Today, you might be struggling to believe that God loves you regardless of sinful thoughts that may be still lingering around based on your past rebellion or shortcomings. And now you're working overtime trying to make up for it. I want you to take note in this: '.... While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' Notice, WHILE WE WERE. Meaning that we are no longer sinners, regardless of what we might have done, no matter how recent that may be. You are forgiven and God loves you.
