πŸ₯Ί Dental emergency πŸ¦·πŸ†˜
The inevitable happened waking in excruciating pain, I managed to get in to see my dentist and might need a root canal or worst case scenario to remove my tooth. Both options sound bloody awful. I have been in so much pain and yesterday did not reach 10K steps. I’ll do my best today but also need to stay focused on my long term health which includes rest and recovery. I want to keep as many teeth in my head for as long as possible. It might be a slower few days but I’ll work out a plan to β€œcatch up” and stay on track

Sunday and road trip
We spent around 6 hours travelling but I managed a walk in the morning and late walk at the hotel in the evening for around 25 minutes. I still managed 12 hours of stand hours which is crazy since I was in the car so much but with a few breaks it still managed to reach thatπŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I could not have been more tired by the end of the night, but glad I finished ticking the 90 minutes goal. I realised my watch charger was not working sooo Monday will be without watch which is super annoying since it is the last 100 days of the year and it is my main way of tracking 😭 πŸ‘Ÿ15625 steps ❀️482/600 calories πŸ’š94/90 minutes 🩡12/12 stand hours πŸ”Ό 3 flights climbed

Saturday and life happens πŸ₯Ί
πŸ‘Ÿ 16160 steps ❀️ 572/600 calories πŸ’š 86/90 minutes 🩡 13/12 stand hours πŸ”Ό 18 flights climbed I had not great news about a family member in hospital and the plans I had for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are now going to change significantly. Both Sunday and Monday will include lots of time in the car driving back and forth to hospital and visiting family. I’m too tired to think too hard. But the great thing is - I have this plan. I have my exercise clothes ready to go. I am not going to stress too hard except aim to still hit my target and not be too hard on myself on the days that life happens!

Friday - closed 1/3 rings
I am tracking on my Apple Watch and closed 1/3 rings. This is where I’m at πŸ™Œ still a good day and on track. I was in the car a lot and also sitting down so not as many opportunities for moving throughout the day but I will work on this since after 11am I only got a few thousand steps in for the remainder of the day. ❀️474/600 calories πŸ’š73/90 minutes 🩡12/12 hours πŸ‘Ÿ13054 steps πŸ”Ό 10 flights climbed

Friday - closed 1/3 rings
Thursday: consistency not perfection
My step count yesterday was 15,985 and I made 10k steps by 10am which is my plan. I took my nephew to an appointment and we had burger and fries for lunch, and then I went for a pub dinner with a friend and ordered rump steak that came with chips and very little veg. I had a glass of wine as well πŸ€” Overall not great food choices and in both cases there are other places I could have gone and there were different choices on the menu. But I am a work in progress and I am working on consistency not perfection. Instead of obsessing over my diet and being mad about what I ate, I will take the day for what it was, celebrate reaching my step count, seeing family, and catching up with a friend I've known around 25+ years.
