Welcome to 10k steps a day!
I have been averaging around 5,000 steps a day — but I’m on a mission to push this up to 10,000, and beyond. Earlier this year I turned 50. Like so many midlife women, I’ve found myself at a crossroads: my body feels different, my energy isn’t what it used to be, and the quick fixes that worked in my 20s and 30s no longer deliver. I need more than a short‑term goal. I need a sustainable, life‑changing habit that will carry me into the next decade stronger, lighter, and more alive. That’s why I’ve committed to walking — not just for exercise, but as a daily act of reclaiming my health, my confidence, and my future. This isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about showing up, step after step, until the results speak for themselves. If you’re here, it’s because you’re ready to do the same. You want to lose weight, yes — but you also want to feel proud of the woman you see in the mirror. You want to wake up with energy, move through your day with ease, and know you’re building a body that will carry you well into the years ahead. This community is where we do it together. We’ll track our steps, share our wins, and keep each other accountable. We’ll talk about the real challenges — busy schedules, family demands, changing hormones — and we’ll find solutions that work in real life
