So I recently had a client with mature locs that were thick and created from the braid method. He had a complaint that was very valid and seem to strike a nerve every time he looked at his locs. LINT!! The silent killer.
Do you have lint? For how long have you had lint in your locs?
When starting locs you have to be sure to keep lint out of the mix. Growing lint within the loc becomes apart of the loc and trying to get it out will destroy your loc.
Well he did just that, made him so mad that he tried to get the lint out of every loc and instead of a simple retwist and style he had to take a venture on the cruise of loc maintenance ship which can cost an unruly amount.
One way to keep lint out would be to use a silk bonnet or even a loc sock found at your local hair store.
How did you keep lint from embedding into your locs?
