Trust God
Psalm 40:4 says, "Blessed is the man that makes the Lord his trust...". Then, in verse 5 it says that many are the thoughts of God toward us; they are more than can be numbered! Psalm 139:17 calls these thoughts precious. God's intent is to lift us up, build us up.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
God wants the best for us. He thinks the best of us. Ephesians 1:3 says that He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. It's time we put off our old way of thinking and put on the thoughts that God has multiplied toward us. Thoughts like in Romans 8:37; we are more than conquerors. Or, how about "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Why not put on what God's Word says about us and think the best of ourselves and of others.
God is there to strengthen us, empower us, comfort us, and build us up. Let's accept what God thinks about us and live the more than abundant life that Jesus Christ came to make available. Now, that's a God I can trust!!!
