Hello everyone. Don here. At the moment my favorite verse is from Jeremiah 29:11, where it is written: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Invitation
Our congregation at St. Andrews Anglican Church is prayerfully working toward the planting of a new church in Conway. Why is there a need for a new Anglican Church? Good question. I grew up in, and was confirmed in, the Episcopal Church, which is the U.S. branch of the Anglican tradition. Over the past 60 years the Episcopal Church I knew gradually changed, to the point that the sermons were focused more on "woke politics" than on the teachings of our Lord Jesus, and of the Word. I'm not here to condemn woke politics (though I admit to a certain bias towards liberty and free markets), it's just that I don't want to be preached-to about politics of any sort when I go to worship. I only want to hear "the Way, the Truth and the Life." (the Gospel of John 14:6) After a long and mostly frustrating search for a church like the one I grew up in, I visited St. Andrew's Anglican Church in Little Rock. It was like coming home after a long, long voyage around the world. There were my people - my brothers and sisters in Christ! I have been attending worship service there for more than a year and not one time have I heard a "politics-oriented" message, thanks be to God! Join with us at St. Andrews if you want to hear about the Way, the Truth and the Life without the politics. I will post information about the meetings of the proposed new church in Conway as info becomes available. In the meantime, may the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you! May He look upon you with favor and grant you peace!
Ep 13 The Piano’s Grand Story: From Christmas Gifts to Heavenly Praise
"A humble Christmas piano gift sparked centuries of musical wonder—discover how one instrument changed hearts, homes, and history forever!" In Episode 13 of Voices of the Faithful, beloved storyteller and speaker Rose-Mary Rumbley takes you on a delightful journey through the piano’s remarkable story. From ancient hunting bows and biblical harps to the invention of the pianoforte by Bartolomeo Cristofori, covered-wagon pioneers, saloon sing-alongs, and Victorian courtship, Rose-Mary weaves humor, history, and heart into every note. She shares personal memories of elocution lessons, her mother’s dreams of piano greatness, famous composers’ quirks (Bach, Beethoven, Liszt, Van Cliburn, and more), and why the piano remains a treasured centerpiece of family faith and celebration. Perfect for music lovers, history buffs, and anyone who cherishes Christmas traditions. Listen now and be inspired by the instrument that has lifted praises for generations! If this episode blessed you, please leave a review, and share it with a friend who loves music or needs a joyful reminder of God’s gifts.

There is a beautiful piano gallery in Mayflower. Anyone who loves exceptional instruments should check it out. I was there recently. They are having a sale at the moment.
