The stars are asking us to wake up this week, come out of last month’s foggy aspects, and reorient to our political, personal, and environmental landscape with less obfuscation and with better lighting. Because of this we may have to face some tough realities as key examples of climate change and political shifts become obvious, or we could feel a wave of fresh air, a new certainty in our path, new clarity for who has our back or what direction now opens before us.
With this new clarity we also need to wrangle with an interesting power dynamic which presses us to correct a personal or cultural cycle, a cycle which began when Saturn and Pluto conjunct in January of 2020.
Saturn – the symbol of structure, limits, work, traditions, and control, sextiles Pluto, symbolizing power of all kinds. Sextiles are harmonizing aspects, nudging us to look at the nature of control, and helping us curb the use and abuse of political, personal, or electrical power. There are so many ways that this Saturn-Pluto question of power and empowerment is playing out around the globe right now. This weekend No Kings rallies are scheduled around the country just as the sextile perfects.
Saturday, March 28: Don’t try to control others; instead, show up, be present, witness a person viewpoint, express while giving others room to express themselves. Think back to cycles that began in 2020 and contemplate what can be done to improve their trajectory, then work towards healthy restructuring as the Saturn-Pluto sextile perfects under an expansive Leo Moon. Organize home, clear the ground, weed the garden in all its symbolic permutations. Life is a metaphorical play filled with street theater and dramatic romantic or political gestures.
Sunday, March 29: If we feel stirred up, our feelings jumbled this morning, let’s process those emotions, rehash recent events until they feel more digestible as the Moon squares Uranus and trines Venus. Just remember to take turns and really listen when it’s time. As the Moon heads into productive Virgo this afternoon, drop the focus on the recent past before it becomes a bitch-fest, and instead ameliorate the situation; engage in home improvements, and self-care. Brainstorm next steps.
Monday, March 30: Get back into the body, enjoy a long morning shower. This is potentially a beautifully productive day if we can pour the ambient Aries restlessness into practicalities as Venus enters its own cuddly and sensual sign of Taurus under an industrious Virgo Moon. Avoid big sweeping statements and keep feedback focused on concrete and specific examples; the mood is stubborn but curious. Let’s go ahead and weed but keep our main focus on what we want to grow instead. Work that metaphor across life as the Moon opposes Mercury and sextiles Jupiter.
