These two pictures are about a year apart. For the longest time I avoided using color, but I continued to see my line work improve. I realized if I wanted to keep growing I was going to had to get out of my comfort zone. You might be going through the same thing. Don’t be scared afraid to try some new, you may find out it was the best decision you ever made

A lot of times as artist we compare ourself to our peers, to the ones we look up to. Not only does this water down what you feel like you can do but also takes away from the creativity that only you can bring to the world. Be the best that YOU can be, don’t worry about the others.
