Do you want to learn an ancient traditional painting method born from China that has been nearly erased during to the Chinese Cultural Revolution?
I have been learning how to paint in the Gong-bi style (meticulous-style) from various books and courses from other teachers and artists, and received interest from other artists in person and around the world to observe and learn how to paint in this ancient way.
I am still a learner myself, but enjoy building a community of artists who want to learn this practice alongside me.
I know the general basics to support new learners, but I am also learning alongside other mentors and artists who are ahead of me.
Let us build a community of artists who wish to learn this ancient way of painting to:
- Retain historical artistry
- Create art that resonates with our heart and heritage
- Share our art with those who would want to remember their East Asian culture
