“Hosting sounds like SO MUCH WORK.” 😵‍💫
I keep seeing this come up in the answers from new members.
Time. Organization. Technology. Not knowing the process.
And one person put it beautifully: wanting a structure that makes hosting worthwhile WITHOUT creating unnecessary complexity or taking focus away from the core business.
𝗬𝗘𝗦. 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧. 👏
Because hosting a summit or bundle IS work.
I'm not going to sit here and tell you that you can throw one together in 20 minutes while drinking your morning coffee. 😂☕
But here's where I think people get overwhelmed.
They're trying to figure out the ENTIRE event before they've even made the first decision.
The contributors. The emails. The website. The graphics. The promotion. The schedule. The tech.
𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗜𝗧.
At once.
You don't need to do that.
Here's how I approach it:
𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁: Decide who the event is for and what you want it to accomplish.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻: Choose the event format and theme.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻: Figure out who needs to be involved.
𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗻: Build the registration, access and promotion pieces.
One decision informs the next.
And when you have an actual process to follow, you're not waking up every morning thinking, "What the hell am I supposed to do today?" 😂
That's why I love having systems and planning documents behind my events.
Not because I'm obsessed with spreadsheets.
Okay, maybe a little. 😂
But because I don't want to reinvent the entire process every single time I host something.
The goal isn't to make hosting effortless. It's to make the work organized, intentional and manageable.
And that starts with knowing what comes next. 💗
𝗦𝗼 𝗜'𝗺 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀... 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄? 👇
⏰ Finding the time?
🗂️ Organizing all the moving pieces?
💻 Figuring out the tech?
🤝 Finding contributors?
📣 Getting people to actually sign up?
Or something completely different?
Tell me. Let's see if we can make this whole hosting thing feel a little less complicated. 😂💗
