COMMUNICATION HELP
I hope it’s OK that I ask this here, but I figured you have a wonderful group of people here that I’m sure would have some suggestions. I am looking to see if anybody has any suggestions for when it comes to communicating with team members.
A little bit of backstory: a client of mine has a team of about seven people and for communicating with each other up to this point we have been using Facebook messenger and text messages for the most part. I am looking to bring some suggestions to my clients attention to try and help two problems that we are having.
  1. Many of us have numerous conversations going for conversations about the business. For example, I have about 11 going. I have conversations on Facebook with individual team members, conversations for three or four team members together, and conversation for the whole team together. In addition to text messages with individual team members. This is in addition to any emails. I know I’m not the only one that has so many conversations going. I am finding it very difficult to make sure things don’t get missed.
  2. Also, it was mentioned by a team member a while back that they don’t enjoy getting notifications of conversations that are not relevant to them.
I am looking for suggestions that any of you may have about some free or low-cost programs or anything that could help with these two issues. I had thought about just making topic relevant chats on Facebook messenger, but then that still doesn’t fix the issue of people getting notifications whenever it’s not something completely relevant for them.
