Ok, so today I want to go over what it actually looks like to build a real working relationship with an executive assistant. Not a surface-level "here's your task list" arrangement. An actual strategic partnership where both of you are rowing in the same direction.
Most entrepreneurs do not know how to use an EA or VA effectively. They dump tasks on them, never explain the why, and then wonder why their assistant keeps dropping the ball or just doesn't seem to care. (And then they say it doesn’t work… No, you just do not know how manage.)
And then on the flip side, I see EAs who are fully capable of running the show but sit quietly waiting to be told what to do next. Both sides are failing each other.
This guide is for both the entrepreneur and the EA. But mostly for the entrepreneur, because the tone of the relationship always starts at the top.
