🧠The Obstacle Is the Way: Why the Grind Is Your Greatest Asset
Ok, so today I want to go over something that has completely changed the way I think about running a business. And honestly, this applies to every area of your life. It's the idea that the hard stuff you're dealing with right now is not blocking your success. It IS the path to your success.
I'm writing this because the number one thing I see holding people back is not a lack of money, not a lack of tools, not a bad market. It's how they react when things get hard. They freeze. They complain. They blame the economy, their employees, their competitors, their situation. And look, I get it. I've been there. But the people who actually build something real? They do the exact opposite. They take the problem and figure out how to use it.
There's an old quote from the roman emperor Marcus Aurelius where he was literally sitting in a tent on the front lines of a war when he wrote "The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way."
That was almost 2,000 years ago. And it's still the most useful business advice I've come across.
