Ok, so today I want to go over how to build an outbound sales system when you're a solo founder or running a tiny team. I'm writing this because most sales advice out there assumes you already have a full sales team. Five reps, a sales manager, the whole setup. That's not reality for most of us.
Whatever business you run, you probably got your first 10 to 20 clients through personal relationships, networking, and hustle. Word of mouth. Maybe some internet marketing. That works early on. But that doesn’t scale long term. Maybe some internet marketing. That works early on. But it stops working.
There's this painful transition where you need to go from organic growth to proactive growth. You need to build actual systems that produce revenue on a schedule. Not randomly. Not because you got lucky with a referral. On a schedule.
This transition period is brutal. Missed results, delayed momentum, a lot of uncertainty. I've seen it over and over with the companies we work with. And most people handle it wrong.
