🛡️ Loyalty Is the Foundation: Why You Can't Outsource Leadership
Ok, so today I want to go over something I see destroying remote teams every single day. It's the idea that you can hire a few VAs, build a system, and then disappear to a beach while the business runs itself.
I'm writing this because business owners keep getting sold this dream. Hire some overseas talent. Set up a couple of automations. Step away. Finally be free.
That's crap. It does not work like that. And the people selling you that fantasy have never actually built a remote team that lasted more than a year.
And if that's your mentality, six months later reality looks like this. Half your team has quit. The culture is dead. Nobody actually cares about the business. And you have no idea why any of it happened.
Here's the truth. Systems matter. Automation matters. But you cannot automate loyalty. You cannot delegate leadership. If your whole plan is to build something that runs without you actually leading it, you are going to be very disappointed.
This article is about what it actually takes to lead a remote team that stays loyal, performs at a high level, and doesn't fall apart the moment things get hard.
