Makin it Homemade
Things are gettin thin financially in our house as I’m sure it has for many. With the hubby looking for new work and savings starting to dwindle, I’ve decided that I’m finally gonna start making foods at home that are simple. You know, the things that take hardly any ingredients and they are most always in our pantries. Things like breads, pastas, tortillas, stocks, jams, etc.
I’ve gathered a few items this past week to get me started. I got a better mixer, some bigger mixing bowls, jars with lids, and plenty of parchment paper, foil, and plastic wrap. There are already some meetings and appointments on the books so I’ll be starting my homemade adventure this weekend.
Do any of you fine ladies have suggestions or recipes that a beginner should start with?
