𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑨𝒖𝒅𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑾𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝑵𝒐𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈...

It’s basically teaching people something while keeping them interested enough to actually watch the video. Think education meets entertainment. The kind of video that makes someone laugh, think, or say “oh, I never thought about it that way.”

Here’s how I approach it in my own videos:

𝙐𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩 – Compare your point to a movie everyone knows, a line from a song, or something in pop culture. It makes your message click instantly.
𝙎𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 – Even a tiny one. Relatable conversation improves learning.
𝙋𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩 𝙖 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 – Make them curious, make them feel something, or let them see the scene in their mind.
𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙤𝙧 – Not forced, preferably not corny-LOL. Just the little things that make you…you.
𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙥 – Don’t always shoot at your desk or standing in front of that same wall. Sometimes I'll record at the pond by our house, in front of a building with a cool mural or in the parking lot of the type of place you're talking about.
𝙐𝙨𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙪𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 – Cut between you and premium stock video that represents what you're talking about. It keeps the energy up and makes the video feel more dynamic.

The goal isn’t just to teach. It’s to get people to watch the whole video, understand and remember it, and maybe even smile while they’re learning.

Next time you shoot a video, think about where you record it, what story you’re telling, and how you can add in humor or a visual twist. Moral of the story...don't be boring.
