You're Always on a Journey Toward Something
I'm sharing with you a quote from Abraham Hicks' channelings (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'll make a video about this soon):
"You're always on your way to something. The key is: find a way to be happy wherever you are now, on your way to where you really want to be. (We're talking about the state of being that you want.) It doesn't matter where you are; where you are is constantly changing, but you've got to turn your attention to where you want to go. And that's the difference between making the best of something and making the worst of something."
What does this quote really mean?
Abraham Hicks is telling us something fundamental: life is always in motion. You're always going somewhere, always growing, changing, evolving. You're never "stuck."
But here's the crucial point that many people miss:
You don't have to wait to arrive to be happy
How many times have you told yourself: "I'll be happy when I get that job," "I'll be happy when I find love," "I'll be happy when I have more money"?
This is the mistake. You're placing your happiness in the future, as if it were a prize to be won only after reaching a milestone.
Abraham reminds us that you can be happy NOW, right where you are, even while you're working toward where you want to be.
What does "state of being that you want" mean?
When you think about your goals, you don't truly desire the house, the partner, or the success itself. What you really desire is how you'll feel when you have those things.
You want to feel:
  • Peaceful
  • Fulfilled
  • Loved
  • Free
  • Secure
The magic is that you can start cultivating those states of being NOW, without waiting for external circumstances to change.
The secret of manifestation
Here's where most people go wrong: they focus on "what's missing" instead of "where I want to go."
Focusing on what's missing = you feel frustrated, dissatisfied, angry Focusing on where you want to go = you feel inspired, motivated, confident
These two approaches create completely different energies. And the energy you emit is what attracts your reality.
The practical example
Imagine you're traveling toward a beautiful destination:
❌ Wrong approach: You spend the entire journey complaining about the traffic, the heat, how far away the destination still is. You arrive tired, frustrated, and you've wasted hours of your life.
✅ Right approach: You put on music you love, appreciate the scenery, enjoy the company or the time to yourself. You think joyfully about where you're going. The journey becomes part of the experience, not an obstacle.
The difference between the best and the worst
Abraham concludes by saying that this is what makes the difference between "making the best" or "making the worst" of a situation.
Two people can be in the exact same situation, but:
  • One focuses on everything that's wrong, how hard it is, how much they wish they were elsewhere → makes the worst of it
  • The other finds gratitude for what they have, focuses on the direction they're heading, chooses thoughts that make them feel good → makes the best of it
It's not the situation that changes. It's the focus that changes everything.
The vibration you emit now is what creates your future. If you wait to be happy "when," you're emitting the vibration of lack. And you'll attract more lack.
If instead you choose to be happy along the way, while moving toward your goals, you emit the vibration of abundance, trust, joy. And this accelerates the manifestation of what you desire.
In summary: Don't postpone your happiness. Find ways to feel good NOW, while you continue moving toward your dreams. This is the true secret of conscious manifestation.
💫 Remember: Where you put your attention, you put your energy. And where you put your energy, you create your reality.
