You're Always on a Journey Toward Something
I'm sharing with you a quote from Abraham Hicks' channelings (for those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'll make a video about this soon): "You're always on your way to something. The key is: find a way to be happy wherever you are now, on your way to where you really want to be. (We're talking about the state of being that you want.) It doesn't matter where you are; where you are is constantly changing, but you've got to turn your attention to where you want to go. And that's the difference between making the best of something and making the worst of something." What does this quote really mean? Abraham Hicks is telling us something fundamental: life is always in motion. You're always going somewhere, always growing, changing, evolving. You're never "stuck." But here's the crucial point that many people miss: You don't have to wait to arrive to be happy How many times have you told yourself: "I'll be happy when I get that job," "I'll be happy when I find love," "I'll be happy when I have more money"? This is the mistake. You're placing your happiness in the future, as if it were a prize to be won only after reaching a milestone. Abraham reminds us that you can be happy NOW, right where you are, even while you're working toward where you want to be. What does "state of being that you want" mean? When you think about your goals, you don't truly desire the house, the partner, or the success itself. What you really desire is how you'll feel when you have those things. You want to feel: - Peaceful - Fulfilled - Loved - Free - Secure The magic is that you can start cultivating those states of being NOW, without waiting for external circumstances to change. The secret of manifestation Here's where most people go wrong: they focus on "what's missing" instead of "where I want to go." Focusing on what's missing = you feel frustrated, dissatisfied, angry Focusing on where you want to go = you feel inspired, motivated, confident These two approaches create completely different energies. And the energy you emit is what attracts your reality.
