Welcome to Vette's Southern Sweets!
I have a deep, deep love for cooking, but have been able to create a unique niche with my southern desserts. I have 4 desserts that I have perfected, with room for growth and expansion, but ONLY with these 4 desserts. I've decided that these will be the only desserts, with many variations.
Since starting, my goal was to master 4 deep-rooted Southern inspired desserts: pound cakes, cookies, cobblers, and cinnamon rolls. Using fresh products, often, out the ground produce.
My pound cakes, depending on the event, range in size from 2in to 8-10in. My cookies are soft, chewy, and the ones you don't typically see in a bakery, with all of the "dressing up". My cobblers are few and POWERFUL! It's all in the cobbler! I have about 6 flavors cinnamon rolls that I am quite proud of.
