Why I started making the Veterinary Visit Guides
As a veterinarian with decades of experience supporting pets and their people, I’ve seen first-hand how much smoother - and more reassuring - a vet visit can be when guardians feel prepared, confident, and informed. Over the years, I’ve noticed that many challenges in the consulting room don’t come from the medical side at all, but from uncertainty, worry, or not knowing what to expect. These guides are created to bridge that gap. Inside, you’ll find simple, practical steps that help you make the most of every appointment: clearer communication with your vet, calmer and more comfortable pets, and better overall outcomes. Whether you’re a brand-new pet parent or someone who has been through countless check-ups, these strategies will help you feel empowered and organised. My goal is to give you the clarity and confidence you need to advocate for your animal with ease, ensuring every visit supports their health and wellbeing. Vet visits needn't be a chore, if you're calm, they'll be less stressed!
