Performing for families
I perform for family and all adult shows.
I find that it works when you don’t talk down to the kids. Even when I get the occasional heckle from a kid with respect they to begin to respect me.
Instead of asking them to stop I heckle playfully back and the young person usually stops especially when I high five them for helping with the show.
