I have always enjoyed having a small something sweet after my last meal of the day. In the past as a whole foods plant eater, it has been a couple of dates dipped in nut butter or a handful of berries in the summer months. BUT after starting this, I am learning that this is NOT great food combining. It also sounds like fruits aren't really recommended / optimal at the end of the day.
Is there anything you have found works as a "sweet treat" to cut the craving after your last savoury meal of the day? I am definitely eating a large enough portion for my last meal and it is NOT hunger, it is just the desire to have a bit of a sweet taste at the end of everything... Any thoughts or ideas, or is it just something I have to try and break as a habit as there is no good options? 😅
