Defeating fears (part 2) (3-minute read)
The 5th day of 2025 has just started and I decided to create part 2 for defeating fears, so that you can have splendid 2025. Have you ever heard that a team is as strong as its weakest unit? Imagine that your inner team is all your emotions and belief systems. Your weakest unit would be your fear(s). They are your weakest unit. Paradoxally, you have to blur their influence in order to strenghten your weakest unit. GOOD NEWS - your weak spots (your fears) also have weak spots. Amazing, isn't it? A survey conducted in Michigan University reveals the following: 1. 60% of our fears are completely unreasonable; they never happen. 2. 20% of our fears are focused on our past, which is totally out of our control. 3. 10% of them are based on things that are so insignificant that they don't matter to our existence. 4. From the other 10% only 4 to 5% can be deemed to be reasonable. These statistics show that every second and dose of energy attached to fears are fully wasted and unproductive for 95% of the time. Weeks ago I heard something from Alex Hormozi - "The best way to solve a problem is to look at it as it is not a problem anymore." To support these words I am sharing with you an Indian tale: Desperate, the student went to his teacher and asked him: - How can I free myself, teacher? The teacher replied: - And who binds you, my friend? What if you just look from the perspective of NO-perspective? It - the fear - doesn't exist anymore. In my opinion, the only thing you should be afraid of is negative thoughts. If you contemplate on life and your current situation in negative way, you LACK WISDOM because all the benefits come to the wise ones who take actions. Fears might be also signs for lack of knowledge and wisdom. As a consequence, you possibly have limiting belief systems and negative aura. Enrich your mind. Notice how CHILDREN do it. When you are afraid, visualise that you are a small child who does not know that he should be afraid. Like, for example, that you should beware of wasps because they sting. Fear is formed only when stung. You haven't been stung yet, but you're already scared due to a story you happened to be told in the distant past. By the way do you want a child to be braver than you? As Albert Camus marks quite deeply: "He, who lacks courage, always finds a philosophy to justify himself."
