Today I was grateful for: [_____]
Not because it's perfect — because it's mine.
"Gratitude turns what we have into enough." — Aesop
I don't buy it.
"Enough" sounds like stop. Like settle. word religion used to keep us small. To make wanting more feel like greed a sin . To turn our hunger into shame. To keep us grateful for crumbs while others feast.
I call that programming.
Gratitude isn't about shrinking to fit what you have.
It's the ability to see what's in your hands — friends, family, home, food — and realize the world is filled for us all.
Not just for those hoarding it.
You can appreciate your table and still want a feast.
You can love your circle and still expand it.
You can be grateful now and call in more.
Today I'm grateful for what I have.
And awake to what's coming.
What are YOU grateful for — and what are you calling in?
