Tattoo artists, I genuinely need your honest advice on something
Last week I reached out to 100+ tattoo artists through Instagram and WhatsApp. Some were from Bali, some from Miami, some from smaller studios too. And while talking to them, I noticed a pretty common pattern: Most artists have AMAZING work… but everything mainly depends on Instagram DMs or WhatsApp chats. Like if someone wants to: - see available tattoo designs - check pricing - understand the style - book an appointment they usually have to DM first and wait for replies. And honestly, from a customer perspective, I feel people in 2026 want things faster and more organized 😅 Most people just want to see everything clearly in one place without too much back-and-forth messaging. That’s why I started building simple pages/funnels for tattoo artists where: - tattoos are showcased properly - booking appointments becomes easier - location/info is organized - and the artist has a more professional online presence outside Instagram I’ll attach a few examples below so you guys can understand what I mean. But here’s the thing I’m struggling with: A lot of artists reply positively at first and say “yeah send it over,” but after I show the work, many stop replying completely 😭 So now I genuinely want honest feedback from tattoo artists themselves: Do you guys actually see value in this kind of thing?Or do most tattoo artists simply prefer handling everything through DMs and Instagram only? And if someone pitched YOU this exact service, what would honestly make you interested vs ignore it? Would really appreciate real opinions from artists here because I’m trying to understand the industry better 🙌Tattoo artists, I genuinely need your honest advice on something

Need you guys’ genuine opinion on this 👀
Recently made this website concept for a tattoo studio in Bali. One thing I noticed is that many artists post amazing work on social media, but don’t really have their own space to properly showcase everything. So I tried making something clean where the tattoos, vibe, booking info, and style all feel more personal 🎨 Would honestly love to know what tattoo artists here think about it.What kind of tattoo website/pages do you personally prefer?

Tattoo artists, I’m curious about this
When someone new wants to see your work… Do you send them your full profile or specific tattoos manually? Also random question how many of you are actually open to using newer tools (like AI or better portfolio systems) this year? Or do you prefer keeping things simple? Would love to hear real opinions on this.
Looking for guidance
Hey I’m will, new to tattooing. I have been practicing my lines, circles, wavy lines etc. just been trying to get my fundamentals clean so I can at least have that good even if I’m not doing art my self. I practice this on fake skins yesterday but I’m not sure how well I’m doing or if I am doing well enough to continue on fake skins or just keep doing and practicing line work so it’s better.I’ve been watching some YouTube videos but I feel like communicating with someone directly helps me understand certain principles better. Thanks for your time Have a great day.
