Hey everyone 👋,
I’ve seen a lot of freelancers here struggle with the same challenges on Upwork: sending tons of proposals, not hearing back, or not knowing how to stand out.
One quick tip that’s helped me is to make the first 2–3 lines of your proposal 100% about the client’s problem not about you. Most freelancers start with “I can do this, I have X years of experience…” but clients stop reading. Instead, mirror their job post back to them and show you understand their need.
Example: “I see you’re looking to redesign your homepage so visitors stay longer one way to do this is simplifying the hero section and making your call-to-action clearer.”
This small tweak has boosted response rates a lot. 🚀
If anyone here wants feedback on their proposals or profile, drop a comment or DM me happy to give some quick insights.
