🤔 NEED SUGGESTIONS GUYS! Help Me Figure This Out.
For the last 2 weeks, I've been creating websites for businesses and built my own portfolio:
Here's what happened next:
Got 20+ proposals from agency owners and business owners wanting web dev work!
Turns out web development is STILL thriving in this AI era
My situation: Right now I'm making websites for FREE or just in exchange for video testimonials to build my portfolio.
My main question: Should I start charging my clients now? And honestly, I have no clue about pricing and all this business stuff.
What I need from you:
  • When did you start charging for your services?
  • How do you price web development projects?
  • Any tips for a beginner transitioning from free to paid?
  • What mistakes should I avoid?
I'm getting real demand but don't want to mess this up by undercharging or overcharging.
Drop your advice in the comments!
Would love to hear from experienced developers and business owners 💬
