Introduction: Upwork newbie

Hey Everybody!

My name is Faruq and I’m currently offering Web Design & Webflow Development on Upwork.

So far I’ve earned about $6,000 on Upwork across 2 years (2022 and 2023) and had over 8 clients. I stopped using Upwork as my main source of jobs last year cos I was working for a client I got outside Upwork on retainer. Now that I am done with that project, I am back to optimize my Upwork profile and start getting jobs on the platform again.

It seems the platform has gotten more competitive since I started using it in 2022 with spending more connects to get jobs and profile and proposal boosts. I almost gave up on restarting my account until I came across Nico's videos. His videos have shown me that it is still possible to succeed on Upwork despite how competitive it is.

The reason I joined this community is because I want to make $10k/month consistently on Upwork.
