This project began in the streets between Shacklewell, Kingsland Road, and the little interstices where London forgets itself. UniKin grows from that soil — a story about the hidden structures under the city, the things we walk past without noticing, and the mythic events that surface when you finally look directly at them. Today I’m sharing the Future State Vision for UniKin: a unified document that brings the filmmakers, artists, designers, performers, and collaborators into a single direction of travel. It covers: - the core aesthetic (documentary realism + mythic emergence) - the Unicorn and Anchor semiotics - the production method (one-take rites, lived London) - the design, cinematography, and casting ethos - and the public-art intervention that ties everything together If you’re here, you’re already part of the creative spine of the project. UniKin is a working space for developing a new filmmaking methodology grounded in documentation, location-based research, and lived interaction.
