Maybe the hard times aren’t so much about developing us as a person as much as they were for us to see God is good on the mountain AND in the valley.

You can’t live on just “hope”. Purpose will be louder than your alarm clock. Write out your vision and goals, develop a plan of action, execute. Fail? Re-attack from a different angle. But hope with zero faith, zero action, zero anticipation is DELUSION. LIGHT THE FIRE INSIDE AND GET AFTER IT!

That’s the title of the keynote I’m giving at a college today for the faculty and staff. So I thought I’d drop the question here for you, to consider: What does greatness mean to you? Men, greatness comes at a price. It costs you something! You must possess these characteristics: EFFORT, COMMITMENT, TOUGHNESS, TENACITY, COMPASSION, AND RESOLVE. Take responsibility for your own self-determination. Pursue greatness today! We hate average effort! Give it all.
