We are halfway through, and today we are building a muscle that the "old you" used to have: boundaries sis!!!! ​As caretakers, we say "yes" to everyone else, even when it means saying "no" to ourselves. We over-commit, and then we drown in resentment. And when we finally do say no, we follow it up with a 5-minute apology or a list of excuses. ​Not today. It is exhausting, and it’s why you feel like screaming. ​Today, we clear the mental ​👇 Your Micro-Action Today: ​Grab a scrap piece of paper and a pen. ​Set a timer on your phone for 5 minutes. ​Write down everything swirling in your head. Do not organize it. Do not make it pretty. Just dump it all out until your brain feels lighter. ​When you're done, come back to to this post drop a picture of your messy handwritten paper. Sis, when was the last time your world was completely quiet? No kids yelling, no TV on in the background, video scrolling or kids asking you, "Mom, where is my..." or "Wife, what's for dinner?" ​Constant noise keeps you on high alert. Today, we are reclaiming our peace!! ​👇 Your Action Today: Find 10 minutes today to sit in complete silence. - ​Tip: You can do this sitting in your parked car, or locking yourself in the bathroom.
