What would you purchase first?
If you were just starting out now as a full timer, what 5 or more upgrades/ things would you purchase first after you have your RV and Truck?
Costa Rica update
We left the volcanic mountain region yesterday and I finally got into a city where we have 3G service and some Wi-Fi here and there at the hotel. Costa Rica has definitely blown our minds. There is an immense amount of national pride on conservation and everybody’s on board to honor the beauty of this place. We’ve rafted more rivers and done more zip lining, and we have ever done in our life. We are trying to upload as much as we can to social media, but we barely have an hour of downtime every day. lol.
Costa Rica update
Don’t be afraid to invest.
Turned out being a longer post than expected lol…. Some of you in here may know me as the man of the RV from Interstate Ingrams. Both myself and my wife Courtney started this full time rv journey 3 years ago late Oct 22’ with the whole hearted intent to turn social media into our full-time income. Was it easy? No. Did it take lots of time/dedication? 100% Has it been worth it? 1000% If you want to succeed at ANYTHING it will take effort and in most cases a substantial amount. When we started we didn’t know how to film or edit “content” . We knew how to hit the record button and post. Needless to say that didn’t get us far and we saw that right out of the gate. Courtney stumbled upon Jimi and Sandi’s page just about the time we actually hit the road and saw they offered a content creator course. Coming from owning our own business for more than a decade we knew about investing into a business very well. At the time we were honestly not sure if the course was worth the cost. There’s just so many gurus and scams out there. We took the leap and bought their course 3 years ago this very weekend. Courtney jumped in head first and started learning and applying. By mid to late Feb we hit out first 1k on IG. By May over 40k on IG. No ones success is guaranteed. But with the right education combined with tons of effort it is very possible. Since then we have amassed over 200,000 followers across our platforms work with awesome brands and have successfully turned social media into a real income source. We even partnered with ATC Trailers as their First RV brand ambassadors. You don’t need a million followers to be successful you just need to put your head down and grind hard. Dont compare your success to everyone else’s that becomes toxic. Trust me I know how easy it is to get bought up in someone else’s engagement and follower count. That will only set you back and make you feel defeated. Is buying a course necessary? No. Is it a heck of a lot easier to take a successful persons experience to put yours on a fast track? Yes. If you’re just starting out on a budget and deciding on education or the latest tech/gear education is far more valuable than equipment. Equipment doesn’t do a bit of good if you don’t know how to work the landscape.
Always learning!!
What is 1 to 3 new things you have learned this week? How will those things help you going forward?
