As you become older you realise how important it is to stay true to your energy and stay true to yourself. When you are a young adult it’s all about having fun and unfortunately being rebellious, and it is in those rebellious years that you unconsciously ( or consciously) invite bad energy/people into your life without caring about the energetic repercussions that may have for you ( not to mention the spiritual doorways that your behaviour could potentially be opening)
In most cases when your young you don’t have much to worry about so you can give away your energy “ freely” with no “ Filter” You may talk about your hopes and dreams for the future with friends at college but then that’s all they become just dreams.. because when you leave collage you step out into the “ real world” which puts various responsibilities on you ( full time work, parenthood etc )
But if you have a passion for something you will always have that “ calling” within you and it’s your duty to listen to that calling because it is there for a reason.
Its easy to lose your identity when you become a parent, your whole World gets turned upside down and you start seeing life from a different perspective ( You also realise how much your parents actually did for you.) But it’s at this stage in your life when literally all of your energy is invested in your children, you don’t have time for anyone else but your baby, You feel depleted and the days blur into months! You do less stuff for you and so before you know it your identity is just “ A mother” but it is through this transition that a new version of you is born and it’s a beautiful thing! but it can also be quite scary, because for the first few years of their life it will be like living in Groundhog day. So it is absolutely essential to make time for you!
There will be a time when you would have established a daily routine with your kids and housework. Your energy is more settled ( personally speaking, if you have more than one child the adult drink Lucazade is a great pick me up because of the Electrolytes in it) It is during this time when you can start doing things for yourself again , even if it’s just reading a book , going for walks, embroidery, or even working towards your passion.
Like i said earlier if you have a passion for something you will always have that “ calling” within you and it’s your duty to listen to that passion because it is there for a reason. But nothing great comes from staying in comfort zones and nothing happens if you don’t put the energy, effort and time into making it a reality!
For example, you could be an aspiring writer but in order for people to know about your work you have to create a page to promote your articles, you need to join various community groups on social media to get your name out there, make blogs/vlogs etc and as long as you dedicate doing that daily ( and it may take 3+years !) Then your perseverance will definitely pay off! and it’s through listening to that inner voice/ Intuition that keeps pushing you to keep on going! You become your true authentic self. By doing an action similar to this it plants a “reawakening” seed in your mind that then has a healthy snowball effect in your life .. you start blocking out all the toxic energy/people, you start to prioritise your family more, you declutter your life from toxicity and move into the next chapter in your life and “ shed your old skin” The skin that wasn’t your true authentic self. You will also find that by staying true to yourself you will be allot calmer ( meditation music even if it’s just on in the background as you do housework helps.)
"where your energy goes, seeds will grow" is a popular motivational saying and spiritual metaphor for the concept that whatever you focus your time, attention, and effort on will develop and manifest in your life.
I have a saying i say to people
“ Your life is like a blank canvas, people
might suggest or tell you what to paint, but it’s you holding the paintbrush not
them. If you don’t like the way your life is going it’s never to late to
change!”
There is so much energy around us so it’s important to only allow what you want to tolerate into your energy field.
