💛 WELLNESS WEDNESDAY: YOUR HEALTHY AGING SELF-AUDIT
Hey sis, When you think about healthy aging, what comes to mind? Wrinkles? Weight? Menopause? Gray hair? Trying to “stay young”? I want us to rewrite that script. I don't want to spend my life trying to look younger. I want to LIVE stronger. I want the strength, energy, mobility, clarity and confidence to continue enjoying my life at 57, 67, 77 and beyond. And here's the important part: We're building that woman NOW. So today, I want you to meet your future self. Grab a piece of paper, open your Notes app, or answer right here in the comments. ✨ YOUR HEALTHY AGING SELF-AUDIT Imagine yourself at 70 years old. MOVEMENT: What do you still want your body to be capable of doing? Think beyond exercise. Traveling? Getting on the floor and back up? Carrying your own bags? Hiking? Dancing? Playing with grandchildren? Living independently? NUTRITION: Are the way you eat and the habits you're building today supporting the energy, muscle, bone health and overall wellness you want later? MINDSET: How do you want to think and feel at 70? Curious? Confident? Peaceful? Adventurous? Still learning and challenging yourself? PURPOSE: What do you hope you're still doing? Working? Creating? Serving? Traveling? Building something? Mentoring others? Starting something completely new? CONNECTION: Who do you want around you? What relationships and communities are you investing in today that you hope will still be part of your life? SPIRITUAL WELLNESS: What do you want your relationship with God, your faith and the things that ground you to look like? Now here's the question I really want you to sit with: Do your habits TODAY support the woman you just described? No guilt. No judgment. No perfection required. Just awareness. Because healthy aging isn't something we suddenly start thinking about when we're “old.” We're practicing for our future every single day. 💛 YOUR ASSIGNMENT Complete these three sentences: At 70, I want to still be able to __________. One thing I'm doing today that supports her is __________.

THIS WEEK’S COACH JACKI CONVERSATION:
What if stress is preparing you—not punishing you? Exercise intentionally places stress on the body. We challenge our muscles and cardiovascular system, then give the body the nourishment, sleep, and recovery it needs to adapt. Over time, we become stronger and better prepared for the next challenge. But we don’t always view emotional or mental stress the same way. When our heart races or our breathing changes, we may immediately think, “This is too much. I can’t handle it.” What if some of those sensations are actually signs that the body is mobilizing energy and preparing us to respond? This does not mean that chronic stress, trauma, and exhaustion are harmless. It also does not mean that we must stay in unhealthy situations. The dose matters. Recovery matters. Support matters. But our interpretation matters, too. This week, watch Kelly McGonigal’s TED Talk, “How to Make Stress Your Friend”: https://www.ted.com/talks/kelly_mcgonigal_how_to_make_stress_your_friend Then reflect: 1. What kind of stress are you currently experiencing? 2. What story have you been telling yourself about it? 3. Is this stress asking you to grow, recover, ask for help, establish a boundary—or make a change? 4. What would help you respond from strength rather than fear? Share one takeaway below. Let’s learn how to work with our bodies instead of automatically believing they are working against us. —Coach Jacki

🥗 MACRO TIMING: ARE YOU FUELING THE WOMAN YOU’RE BECOMING?
Hey sis! We’ve been talking about Becoming—the daily choices that help shape the woman you want to be. Nutrition is part of that journey. Macro timing simply means being intentional about how you distribute protein, carbohydrates and fats throughout your day based on your schedule, activity and goals. When used alongside balanced portions, thoughtful timing may help support: ✨ Steadier energy 💪🏾 Workout performance 🌱 Muscle recovery 🥗 Greater satisfaction 📅 A more consistent routine But macro timing is not about eating according to a perfect clock. Start with balance. Then personalize the timing. Your action for today Think about your typical day: Which meal is the most difficult for you to keep balanced and consistent? A. Breakfast B. Lunch C. 🧠 THIS WEEK’S THEME: BECOMING
Hey sis! You have probably spent time thinking about what you want to accomplish. Maybe you want to: 💪🏾 Become stronger 🥗 Improve your nutrition ✨ Have more energy 🎓 Develop a new skill 💼 Advance your career 🙏🏾 Deepen your faith ✍🏾 Write the book 🌱 Begin your next chapter But this week, I want us to move beyond the goal and ask a deeper question: Who do I need to become to build the life I want? During The Vitality Project Workshop, we explored the Energy Quadrant: 1. MUST DO- What genuinely requires my attention? 2. WE DO- What requires collaboration, help, or delegation? 3. BECOMING- What develops the woman I am called to be? 4. NOT NOW- What can wait, be declined, delegated, or removed? Many high-performing women spend almost all their time in Must Do and We Do. We handle our responsibilities. We support our families. We help our teams. We solve the problems. We make sure everyone else has what they need. And then Becoming receives whatever time and energy happen to be left. Sometimes, that means she receives nothing. So here is our rule for the week: 🔥 Your future self must appear on the page—and on your calendar. YOUR BECOMING EXERCISE Take a few minutes to answer these questions: 1. What am I currently trying to build or change in my life? 2. Who do I need to become to create it? 3. What habits, boundaries, or skills will she need? 4. What am I currently carrying that could be delegated, shared, declined, or moved into Not Now? 5. What is one action I can schedule this week that supports the woman I am becoming? Your action does not have to be dramatic. It might be: - Scheduling three workouts - Planning your lunches - Taking a class - Writing for 30 minutes - Asking someone for help - Protecting time for prayer - Setting a boundary - Going to bed earlier - Making the appointment you keep postponing Choose one action and put it on your calendar. Because if your future self only exists in your thoughts, she will continue to be postponed.

💪🏾 PROTEIN 101: Are You Getting Protein Throughout Your Day?
Hey sis! If you saw today's Tuesday Health Tip, you already know we're talking about PROTEIN. But let's take the conversation a little deeper in here. Protein isn't just something we need when we're trying to build muscle. Every cell in your body contains protein, and your body uses it to help build and repair tissues, support immune function, create enzymes and hormones, and maintain muscle. But here's something I want you to pay attention to today: When are you actually eating your protein? Many women may have a protein-rich dinner but eat significantly less at breakfast, lunch, or snacks. So rather than trying to completely overhaul your nutrition, let's start with awareness. 🔎 YOUR PROTEIN AUDIT Think about what you ate yesterday. Breakfast: What was your protein source? Lunch: What was your protein source? Snack: Did it contain protein? Dinner: What was your protein source? Don't judge your answers. We're collecting information. Because before we change a behavior, we need to understand what we're currently doing. 🥚 Where Can Protein Come From? Animal sources can include: Eggs • Greek yogurt • Cottage cheese • Chicken • Turkey • Fish • Lean meats Plant sources can include: Beans • Lentils • Tofu • Tempeh • Edamame • Peas • Hemp seeds You don't need the same protein source at every meal. Variety can help you create meals you actually enjoy and can sustain. 🎯 YOUR ACTION STEP For the next 24 hours, I want you to ask one question every time you build a meal: "Where's my protein?" That's it. We're not chasing perfection. We're building awareness. And awareness gives us information. Information allows us to make better decisions. Better decisions, repeated consistently, become habits. And those habits help us build our personal game plan. 👇🏾 Now tell me in the comments: Which meal is the hardest for YOU to include protein in? Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks? Your answers will help determine what nutrition resources I create for the community next.
