Train the Trainee Dental Nurse is a six-week online foundation programme designed to give you the essential knowledge and confidence you need before entering a dental practice.
You’ll learn about the dental team, professional responsibilities, dental anatomy, tooth notation, infection control, decontamination, instruments, surgery preparation, chairside support, patient communication, medical emergencies and safeguarding.
The programme includes video lessons, interactive activities, multiple-choice assessments, downloadable resources, community support and a certificate of completion.
No previous dental experience is required. It’s ideal for school leavers, career changers, job applicants and newly recruited trainees who want to feel prepared for their first day.
Course Cost £150.00
This is a foundation programme, not a GDC-recognised qualification, and does not qualify you as a dental nurse.
