Feb 7 big loser day but important lessons
Trades
- Stopped out of silver and down it went. If I had been playing it on the daily I wouldn’t have gotten taken out but I got spooked. -480. This should have been a very profitable turn.
- Tried to bottom pick AMD again. This was simply a mistake and I realized I was tilting trying to make back money lost. - 330
- SPX 0dte lotto. Took at the end of the day trying to see if we would bounce. Pure gamble. No set up -250

So big loser day but I am up a great deal on my NVDA swing and haven’t taken any profit yet although I’m more than 1k in the green

Lessons for the week. As I’ve been making gains, I feel my demons reentering, wanting to forgo process, jump into trades, gamble and rationalize it etc. my portfolio is up 12 percent on the year and I don’t want that to make me complacent or think it’s house money.
Considering taking a few days off. Forcing myself into writing daily journal entries and bringing my mind state back to equilibrium .
