CFPB Updates
This is affects all credit repair processes.
Before you use to be able to backdate letters so that you didn’t have to send a round first.
And then open a complaint with CFPB to add extra pressure to force deletions.
Now:
CFPB is closing all complaints that have not been disputed multiple times with the CRAs and creditors.
We are still experimenting. I believe around round 2 or maybe round 3 you can then open a CFPB complaint.
Mailed disputes are still unaffected and being processed like normal.
Anyway thought I’d share this with everyone.
Cheers,
David R.
