🥇 Gold +3R, and the mistake I made on the S&P
Hi traders, Ross here 👋
Another day trading the Wall Street session with Pressure Box. Here’s how it went: the good and the bad.
Today’s trades
  • Gold (XAUUSD): +3R ✅ The setup lined up, I followed the rules, and price hit the range expansion target.
  • S&P 500 (ES): -1R ❌ I jumped in too early and didn’t follow my own rules. A mistake, plain and simple.
  • ES second entry: breakeven ➖ More disciplined this time, finished flat.
Net result: +2R on the day.
🧠 The lesson? Discipline is everything.
The -1R was completely avoidable. The strategy wasn’t the problem; my execution was. That’s exactly why a set of rules matters, and why I’m building them into Pressure Box.
It’s not about catching every move. It’s about spotting the right conditions, sticking to the plan and managing your risk every time.
