What Trade Standards Means To Me
Trade Standards started as an idea. But over time it became something deeper than that. To me, Trade Standards is about restoring pride in skilled trades, craftsmanship, integrity, discipline, mentorship, and brotherhood. Not just in the work we build…but in the kind of people we become. I think a lot of people today are searching for something real. Something grounded.Something meaningful. And I believe there’s still honor in: - building things the right way - keeping your word - working hard - teaching the next generation - and carrying yourself with standards This isn’t about pretending to be perfect. I’m still growing too. But I want to build something honest.Something that encourages people to raise the standard in their work, their mindset, and their life. That’s what Trade Standards means to me. Raise the Standard.

Why Craftsmanship Still Matters
I think one of the things disappearing today is pride in work. Everything feels rushed now. Fast work.Cheap work.“Good enough.” But when you’ve been around real craftsmen, you can feel the difference immediately. The details matter to them. The things nobody else sees still matter to them. Because craftsmanship is bigger than construction. It’s about standards.Patience.Discipline.Integrity. It’s about taking pride in what you do and refusing to cut corners even when nobody would notice. And honestly, I think the way someone works says a lot about their character. Trade Standards exists because craftsmanship still matters. Not perfection. But pride in your work.Respect for the craft. And building things the right way. Raise the Standard.
