Welcome to Finding Shared Ancestors! In this private community we are working together to find relatives among the social connections of Alice Hutchinson Thomsen (1866-1932). The project is led by Amanda Jackson, a great granddaughter of Alice. Amanda’s research approach incorporates social story, genealogy, historical research and analysis of DNA matches shared with in the project.
This is an invitation only group. For now it is limited to DNA research participants whose DNA managed by Amanda.
Later other people we are researching with will be added for example. Other fFamily members who will share DNA information with us. People with important social story to help guide us where to look for examples members of the Cobbo family.
