Today is the day!! π¨ We have an updated time and location! We'll be meeting in Shibuya and will be grabbing food! We will meet at the famous Hachiko Statue (dog statue). πΈ Tokyo IRL this Saturday 4/18!!!
Hey Tokyo friends! We'll be meeting this Saturday 4/18 at Futako Tamagawa! It's got a nice park and some fancy Starbucks close by! It's also easy to access by train from Shibuya. Meeting Location: Futako Tamagawa Station Date: This Saturday, 4/18 Time: 2:30pm --- We're down for the craziest of adventures or a super chill meet up. But the most important thing for this event is to connect and make Skooler friends in Tokyo. There's not many people like us in Tokyo, so we gotta stick together, learn from each other, and help each other out. We can build something great if we do it together! Last time, a few of us got to meet up under the cherry blossoms near the Imperial Palace! Not many cherry blossoms left now, but it was such a beautiful day and we're hoping for the same this week. So if you're free, definitely come and hang out! --- π For anyone coming after 2:30pm, we will post an updated location here when we move from the meetup point. π Just met some new Skool friends in Tokyo!!
Skool is a pretty crazy place isn't it? Just had an amazing IRL with some of the top travel experts on Skool Jay Larosa & Mia! They've been traveling the world to some pretty freaking awesome places, all while working remotely. And they have the number one community on this platform for digital nomads, teaching others how to do the same. Definitely check them out! It was so cool to meet others with the same passion for Skool and travel. We got to talk a lot, and though it was a short time, we hit it right off. It felt like talking with some childhood friends, even though it was our first time meeting in person! Skool is such an amazing place for bringing people together right? π Already looking forward to the next time you guys visit! Thanks again for taking the time to meet up and for treating me just like an old friend! Best of luck and safe journeys guys! βοΈ --- Btw thought I'd share this pic. The place we went had the staff chop up a giant tuna in front of us while we ate. There was drumming and chanting, it was pretty wild! And not for the faint of heart π
