Anyone have little moments of motherhood that feels wildly different to what you expected? This morning my 8 year did a load of washing, made my coffee & emptied the dishwasher…WITHOUT BEING ASKED!!! & at that moment I felt grief & excitement all at the same time 🤯 an overwhelming feeling of not being needed by him anymore and a pride that he can do things independently 😭 What wild moments have you experienced that surprised you?
