Today we celebrate the freedoms we’ve been blessed to enjoy and remember those who paid the price to secure them.
As veterans, first responders, fathers, and citizens, we understand that freedom has never been free.
But as Christian men, we’re reminded that there is another freedom that costs even more.
Political freedom gives us the opportunity to live.
Spiritual freedom gives us the power to truly live.
The Apostle Paul wrote:
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” — Galatians 5:1
Real freedom isn’t the ability to do whatever we want.
It’s the ability, through Christ, to do what is right.
Today, may we honor those who fought for our nation’s freedom by living lives worthy of the freedoms we’ve been given.
Lead your family.
Love your wife.
Raise your children in truth.
Serve your community.
Work with integrity.
Pray without ceasing.
And never forget that the greatest legacy we leave isn’t simply a free nation—it’s a generation that knows and follows God.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord…” — Psalm 33:12
To every veteran, active-duty service member, first responder, father, and man striving to lead with courage and conviction—
Thank you.
May God continue to bless our families, our communities, and our nation.
Happy Independence Day!
