Men's Group Prayer is happening in 30 hours
Pinned
Welcome
This group used to be about leadership in general; however, I most recently felt a calling to rename it and focus it on men. So, if you are a man, and want to connect with other like minded men who are striving to be better and find out what God has called men to be in scripture...then this group is for you. All are welcome! If you don't know where you fall but are still looking for what it means to be a man or what manhood really is...you are more than welcome and we look forward to you being here. If you are new here: 1. Please let us know who you are. 2. Why you joined? 3. What are your expectations from the group.

Prayer Requests
Most Wednesday at 1pm EST we will go love to pray for our brothers who have specific prayer requests. For the first one we will go over the biblical way to pray based on the Lord's Prayer that Jesus prayed as a template on how we should pray. This is the starting point.

The 4th man in the fire
I pray this word of encouragement helps you. We all go through things, and we all hope that somebody’s going to be there to help us out. Someone’s going to be there to pull us out of the fire, pull us out of the things that we’re going through. Unfortunately, that doesn’t happen, but the great news is that there’s a person next to you. There is an unseen force that will go with it through with you so that way you come out unscathed on the other end. If you’re struggling with something, drop a share, let us know, and how can we pray for you?

Where Does Real Strength Come From?
If we do anything, it comes from God! Prayer is the string that connects the physical world to the spiritual world. I was reminded of this again this morning when I read 1 Cor. 3:7 (ESV) - So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. Without being tied into the source there is no growth. How have you seen evidence of this in your life?

Where Does Real Strength Come From?
All by myself
I was thinking recently about how difficult it is for many men, especially me, to accept help from others. For years, a lot of us have been programmed with the same message: “You can handle it yourself.” “Don’t depend on anyone.” “Be strong.” “Help everyone else, but don’t become the one who needs help.” There’s value in servant leadership. There’s honor in serving others. But somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that receiving help was weakness. It’s not. Allowing someone to help you isn’t failure. It’s trust. It's humility. It's allowing someone else the opportunity to serve. And the truth is that you are worthy of being helped too. That’s hard for me to say sometimes. Anyone else feel this way?
