Sis, hear me:
Satan strikes the match… but the fire only burns when our thoughts and our soul go unchecked, unsubmitted, and unhealed.
Most of the damage doesn’t come from the initial attack, it comes from the internal torment that follows.
This is why you need safe, wise women in your life. Women who listen first, and then respond responsibly when the war inside of you becomes too heavy.
Because after the enemy tempts you, he doesn’t stick around. He steps back…and waits for your own thoughts to finish what he started.
Look at Eve—
Satan tempted her once, then left. It was her untamed desires and her unanswered questions that filled the empty space in her soul.
Look at Cain—
Satan incited envy, then crouched at the door, waiting to see what Cain’s troubled soul would do with it. And it led to murder.
Look at Job—
Satan attacked his life, then stepped back to let grief crush him from the inside. His mouth revealed what the battle in his soul was doing.
Women of God, this is why emotional maturity, spiritual accountability, and healed spaces matter.
The fire isn’t always in the attack, the fire is often in our reaction.
