Looking Ahead to Thursday’s WITT Session
A quick note ahead of Thursday’s We’re In This Together session. Unlike our recent sessions, this one will be an interactive, conversation-led discussion rather than a presentation. We’ll be building on insights from Lindsay’s session on burnout and reclaiming energy, and creating space to reflect, share experiences, and talk honestly about what burnout looks like in real life — and how we start to take control of it earlier. Because this session is rooted in connection and shared reflection, we invite everyone to join on camera if you’re comfortable doing so. There’s absolutely no pressure to speak or share, but being visible helps foster the sense of community and openness that makes these conversations meaningful. The focus will be less on teaching and more on relating — learning from each other’s lived experiences, what we’ve noticed about our own patterns, and how we might approach things differently going forward. We’re looking forward to a thoughtful, grounded conversation and hope you’ll join us.

Don't Miss Our Upcoming Event: Managing Relationships in Times of Stress, with Elizabeth Power
The holidays are meant to be a time of warmth and connection — but for many of us, they also bring an undercurrent of stress, emotional overwhelm, and complicated relational dynamics. Family expectations, old patterns, communication breakdowns, and the pressure to “hold it all together” can leave even the most grounded among us feeling stretched thin. That’s why we’re bringing in Elizabeth Power, a renowned educator, consultant, and facilitator whose career has been dedicated to helping people navigate relationships with more clarity, empathy, and resilience. Elizabeth is a true expert in this space. Her work spans trauma-informed practice, organizational development, emotional intelligence, and the psychology of human behavior. She has an extraordinary ability to translate big, complex concepts into practical, actionable strategies that you can apply immediately — especially when emotions are running high. With decades of experience guiding individuals and teams through high-stress environments, Elizabeth understands how people show up under pressure… and how small shifts in awareness, communication, and boundaries can transform the way we relate to others. Her teaching style is warm, grounded, and deeply engaging — the kind that makes you feel safe, seen, and genuinely supported while also giving you concrete tools to work with. In this session, Elizabeth will help you: - Understand why relationships feel harder during stressful times (and what’s really happening beneath the surface) - Recognize your own emotional patterns — and others’ — with more compassion - Navigate family dynamics, conflict triggers, and communication challenges with greater ease - Build boundaries that protect your peace without damaging connection - Respond instead of react during moments of tension or overwhelm - Strengthen the relationships that matter most, even when the season feels heavy Whether you’re anticipating a challenging holiday season or simply want to deepen your relational resilience, this session will offer the knowledge, perspective, and emotional grounding you need to move through this time with more confidence and calm.
