Chameleon?
Do you ever notice your personality changes depending on who you’re around?
Not fake.Not pretending.
Just… different parts of you becoming louder.
Maybe:
- your accent changes
- your humour changes
- your confidence changes
- your body language changes
- even your values feel slightly different
A lot of Third Culture people grow up learning how to “translate” themselves depending on the room.
You become:
- one version at home
- another at school
- another with relatives
- another online
- another at work
The strange part?After a while you stop knowing which one is the “real” you.
But maybe the real you isn’t one side.
Maybe the real you is the bridge between them.
