Dr. Thurman Fleet .. where it all changed for me
Dr. Thurman Fleet was a chiropractor in Texas in the 1930s. When treating his patients, he came to understand the need to treat the whole person - mind, body and spirit. He became a leading authority in dealing with and transforming the human mind. The following is an excerpt from Dr. Fleet's papers that changed everything for me.. he writes... "In “Phase Two” psychoanalysis and psychiatric principles are employed to inform a student of the detrimental, hidden factors lurking in the subconscious which he inherited or acquired and which hinder him from having a happy, healthy life. Once this knowledge is gained, a person is able to look within and detect these traits and begin a process of elimination, a housecleaning you might say, which when completed will do away with self-caused disease." From this I developed my process which turned my personal life and results around. Step 1 .. I took an inventory of all the debilitating and self-critical thoughts that were plaguing me and holding me back from happiness and success. Step 2 .. Being aware of those negative thought processes allowed me to pause when I was having them and tell them to get lost (usually in not a nice manner like that) Step 3 .. Through repetition and visioneering how I wanted things to be in my life I replaced those negative thought processes with positive, self-growth thoughts. It is an ongoing process but the changes for me have been enormous.

Self-improvement is messy
Self-improvement is messy. For me anyways and for many of you out there I imagine. I am well into my self-improvement journey. Some days I feel I am doing great and other days I feel like I am failing and going backwards. I have to remember that 1. this is a life long journey of improvement and 2. don't be so hard on myself, remember how far I have come. Have you read Psycho Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz ? I am in it for a 3rd time, it is a life changer.. just sayin' 🙏

The only way, in my view, to set yourself free in every area of life is to change your thinking. This is an easy 3 step system.
